Business Development Manager

Salary £20k – £25k basic + car allowance + exciting uncapped ongoing commission – £40K + OTE.

Reporting to the Sales Director and working as part of a well-established team of professionals this is an exciting opportunity for a Telecoms B2B sales specialist.

In this key business development role you will be responsible for retaining and growing the profitability of a portfolio of existing accounts as well as expanding the portfolio through self generation, referrals and networking with partner companies. You will work alongside an internal account manager and will be jointly responsible for a very achievable target.

The product range available to you covers the whole spectrum of telecommunications and connectivity from lines and calls, phone systems, hosted solutions, VoIP, Video Conferencing and NGN’s as well as maintenance and engineering supplied by an in house team of fully qualified staff.

  • Proven sales and account management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Ability to generate new business
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Commercially astute
  • Computer literate – good IT skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • B2B sales experience – ideally in telecoms
  • Ideally a solutions/sales background
  • Must be a car driver.
